This medium-depth bass drum offers a great balance between full, resonant low end and tight response. Yamaha enhances its power with an internal Bass Enhancement Weight, tightening low-mid frequencies for a focused, strong punch

Tom and Floor Toms
Typically paired with a 16″ floor tom, 12″ and 10″ rack toms (mounted via a double holder). Featuring 7‑ply, 7.3 mm oak/phenolic shells for clear attack and sustained resonance .

Edge & Hardware Specifications

• Shell bearing edges beveled at 45° / R1.5 for warmth and clarity

• Equipped with 2.3 mm steel DynaHoops (dark silver) on toms/floor, and wood hoops on the bass drum 

• Mounting uses Yamaha’s Y.E.S.S. III system, preserving shell resonance by minimizing hardware damping
