The BOSS DD-200 Digital Delay is a versatile compact delay pedal that combines advanced sound processing with a streamlined interface designed for quick and intuitive operation. Drawing technology and sounds from the flagship DD-500, it provides a wide range of delay effects in a space-saving format that works well on modern pedalboards.

The DD-200 features 12 delay modes covering everything from clean digital echoes and classic analog-style delays to tape, reverse, rhythmic, lo-fi, shimmer, and ambient effects. Dedicated controls provide direct access to essential delay parameters, while the mode-specific PARAM control offers additional adjustment without complicated menu navigation.

The pedal uses 32-bit AD/DA conversion, 32-bit floating-point processing, and a 96 kHz sampling rate for detailed audio quality. It includes 128 total user setups, consisting of 127 user memories plus the current panel setting. Setups can be recalled from the pedal or through MIDI program changes, while the carryover function allows delay repeats to continue naturally when switching between memories.

The DD-200 also includes an integrated phrase looper with up to 60 seconds of mono recording time. Its multifunction footswitches can control bypass, tap tempo, memory selection, looping, and other assignable functions. External footswitches, an expression pedal, and MIDI devices can also be connected for expanded control.
