The BOSS ES-8 Effects Switching System is a professional-grade pedal switching system designed to provide extensive control over complex guitar and bass rigs. With eight effect loops, flexible signal routing, parallel chain capability, MIDI integration, and 800 patch memories, the ES-8 serves as a centralized command center for managing multiple stompboxes and external effects.

The ES-8 allows you to change the order of connected effects without physically rearranging your pedals. Its programmable routing system lets you create different signal paths and parallel effect chains, with each configuration saved for instant recall during live performances.

Comprehensive connectivity includes three TRS control outputs, two TRS expression outputs, two TRS control/expression inputs, and MIDI connectivity for controlling compatible effects and equipment. External control parameters such as delay time can also be stored within individual patches.

Designed with tone preservation in mind, the ES-8 uses carefully developed analog circuitry to minimize unwanted noise and signal degradation. Independent input and output buffers can be enabled or disabled as needed, with output buffer levels also adjustable to suit different pedalboard configurations.
