The BOSS KATANA Head Gen 3 is a 100-watt Class AB guitar amplifier head designed for live performance, recording, and everyday practice. It features the latest generation of BOSS Tube Logic technology, delivering improved sound, response, and playing feel with a wide range of versatile guitar tones.

The amplifier includes six amp characters, including the new Pushed character, with a selectable variation for each for a total of 12 distinctive amp tones. The Bloom switch provides an additional change in feel and response, producing a sharper attack and dynamic low-end response.

For practice, the KATANA Head Gen 3 includes a built-in 5-inch speaker, allowing you to play and adjust your tones without connecting an external cabinet. The Power Control function also lets you achieve responsive, driven amplifier tones at lower volume levels.

Five built-in effects sections—Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb—provide essential BOSS effects with three variations in each section. Using BOSS Tone Studio, you can access more than 60 effect types, customize parameters, change effect order, adjust EQ settings, and manage your saved sounds.

The amplifier also features a three-way Contour control, three Cabinet Resonance options, eight Tone Setting memories, an FX Loop, Power Amp In, Line Out, USB-C audio, and headphone connectivity. Its multiple control options make it suitable for guitarists who need a flexible amplifier for stage, studio, and home use.
