The CAD WX1000HW is a UHF wireless headworn microphone system designed for hands-free presentations, performances, instruction, fitness classes, and other applications where freedom of movement is important. Its frequency-agile design provides 100 selectable channels within the 550–590 MHz range, allowing users to select a suitable operating frequency for their wireless environment.

The system supports up to 20 compatible systems simultaneously and provides a transmission range of up to 295 feet (90 meters), depending on the operating environment. Automatic frequency scanning helps identify an appropriate channel, while IR synchronization simplifies pairing between the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter features an internal rechargeable battery capable of providing more than 10 hours of operation, making the system convenient for extended events and performances.
