The Radial Engineering LX-2 Passive Line Splitter & Attenuator is a compact line-level signal distribution interface designed for professional studio, live sound, and broadcast applications where a single audio source needs to be split and controlled with precision.

The LX-2 takes one balanced line-level input and provides two outputs: one direct output and one transformer-isolated output. This allows engineers to send the same signal to multiple destinations—such as FOH consoles, recording systems, or secondary processors—while maintaining clean separation between audio paths.

At the core of the LX-2 is a Jensen isolation transformer, which delivers high-quality galvanic isolation on one output. This effectively eliminates ground loops, hum, and electrical noise that can occur when connecting equipment powered from different sources.
