Description
The Radial Engineering Switchbone V2 is a professional-grade ABY/C amp selector and boost pedal designed for electric guitarists who need advanced control over multiple amplifiers while maintaining a clean, noise-free signal path. It allows switching or combining up to three amps (A, B, and C) from a single input.
At its core, the Switchbone V2 uses a 100% discrete Class-A signal path, ensuring transparent tone and consistent response. It also includes Radial’s Drag™ control, which lets players adjust the input load to better simulate the natural feel of plugging directly into a tube amplifier.
To maintain silent operation on stage, the unit uses opto-coupler switching technology, eliminating mechanical switching noise. The transformer-isolated output helps prevent ground loop hum and interference when using multiple amplifiers simultaneously.
A major feature of the Switchbone V2 is its built-in clean boost section, capable of delivering up to +18 dB of gain, with an optional mid-boost function for added presence and sustain during solos. It also includes a tuner output and configurable C output, giving flexible routing options for complex rigs.
The unit is housed in a rugged metal chassis built for touring, with smart LED indicators that show routing status clearly during live performance.
