The Roland CY-16R-T is a 16-inch thin V-Cymbal ride/crash pad designed for the V-Drums Acoustic Design 5 Series. Made approximately 40% lighter than previous generations of V-Cymbals, it provides natural cymbal movement and responsive stick feel for everything from powerful crashes to subtle ride patterns.

The CY-16R-T can be used as either a crash or ride cymbal and supports flexible triggering configurations. Its dual outputs provide two-zone triggering for crash applications with bow and edge sounds or ride applications with bow and bell sounds. When connected to a compatible current-generation V-Drums module, the two outputs can be combined to provide advanced three-zone triggering with independent bell, bow, and edge sounds.

The cymbal also supports edge-grab choking and responsive edge playing techniques for a more natural electronic drumming experience. With its realistic movement, lightweight construction, and flexible triggering options, the CY-16R-T is suitable for V-Drums setups used in practice, recording, rehearsal, and live performance.
