The Roland EC-10M ELCajon Mic Processor adds electronic percussion sounds to an acoustic cajon using a compact clip-on microphone system. It captures the sound of the cajon and allows players to layer electronic percussion with their natural playing, expanding a traditional cajon into a versatile hybrid percussion instrument.

The EC-10M includes 16 preset kits featuring sounds such as tambourine, surdo, splash cymbal, acoustic snare, Roland TR-808 snare, and additional electronic percussion. Built-in cajon tones with added ambience can also reinforce the natural acoustic sound.

Its compact processor weighs approximately 500 g and operates on four AAA batteries for up to five hours of use. The included clip-on condenser microphone attaches directly to a cajon sound hole, eliminating the need for a conventional microphone stand. The system can also be used with mini cajons, acoustic guitars, cardboard boxes, and other suitable surfaces.
