The Roland KD-20-MS is a premium 20-inch electronic bass drum pad designed for the V-Drums Acoustic Design series. It combines the appearance and feel of a traditional acoustic kick drum with Roland’s advanced electronic triggering technology. The full-depth wood shell provides an authentic acoustic look, while the head-mounted sensor system delivers natural feel and rebound with every stroke.

The enlarged trigger area provides plenty of space for both single and double kick pedals and supports short beater settings for greater playing flexibility. Updated telescopic legs provide improved stability and make it easier to position the kick drum correctly. Adjustment indicators and redesigned rubber feet and nuts help keep the pad secure during intense playing.

The KD-20-MS also features custom chrome lugs, claws, and spurs that enhance its professional acoustic-drum appearance. An included KDP-5 self-adhesive patch helps reduce wear from repeated beater strikes and is compatible with plastic, felt, and wood beaters. Finished in Midnight Sparkle, the KD-20-MS adds both realistic performance and an attractive appearance to a V-Drums setup.
