The Roland KD-A22 is a bass drum conversion kit that allows you to turn a standard 22-inch acoustic bass drum into an electronic kick drum trigger for use with Roland V-Drums modules. The KD-A22 uses Roland’s air-damping technology together with the deep acoustic drum shell to provide a natural and responsive pedal feel. The system delivers stable, consistent, and accurate triggering for both single and double kick pedal playing.

The complete conversion package includes a front head, batter head with built-in kick-pad sensor, 22-inch metal hoop, and shock-absorbing cushions. It is designed to work with standard 22-inch acoustic bass drums and is compatible with double kick pedals. The acoustic bass drum and kick drum pedal are not included.
