The Roland PD-140DS is a 14-inch digital V-Pad designed to provide a realistic snare drum experience for Roland V-Drums electronic drum systems. Its full-size design offers a familiar playing surface and feel similar to an acoustic snare drum.

The pad features eight high-resolution sensors positioned across the drumhead and rim to accurately capture different playing techniques, including backbeats, rimshots, ghost notes, brush strokes, buzzes, flams, and cross-stick playing.

A three-ply mesh head provides a comfortable and quiet playing surface while allowing you to adjust the tension to your preferred feel. The eight-lug design makes it easy to customize the head tension from a tighter response to a softer, more relaxed feel.

The PD-140DS uses a digital trigger connection and is compatible with Roland TD-27 and TD-50 series modules. A connection cable and drum key are included.
