The updated TD-17 Version 2 expands the module with additional kits, samples, effects, compression and reverb sections, and Roland Cloud support. With 70 premium preset drum kits, including 20 added kits and 26 pre-loaded samples, you can explore a wide variety of acoustic and electronic sounds or create your own customized kits by layering and editing individual instruments.

The TD-17 provides detailed response for advanced playing techniques, including rimshots, cross sticks, ghost notes, rolls, flams, and smooth hi-hat transitions. Ambience, reverb, EQ, pitch controls, compression, and effects allow you to shape your drum sounds for practice, recording, or live performance.

Built-in Bluetooth audio lets you stream music and online lessons wirelessly from your smartphone, while USB audio/MIDI makes it easy to connect the module to a computer and record directly into a DAW. The module also supports WAV sample import via SD card, allowing you to incorporate original drum hits, loops, sequences, and other sounds into your kits.
