The updated step sequencer retains the intuitive workflow that made the original so accessible while adding powerful modern features. Adjustable sub-steps enable ratcheted rhythms, Step Loop allows instant pattern slicing and manipulation, and per-step probability introduces variation for evolving beats that stay interesting.

Designed with electronic music setups in mind, the TR-06 includes five trigger outputs and one trigger input, allowing it to control external modular equipment and integrate with tabletop synthesizers and drum modules.
