The Shure A95UF is a passive lineâ??matching transformer designed to adapt professional lowâ??impedance balanced microphones to highâ??impedance unbalanced inputs, or vice versa. It enables use of long microphone cable runs with minimal signal degradation and reduces the common problems of highâ??frequency loss, level loss, and hum or noise pickup when connecting mismatched impedance devices. It is compact, rugged, and does not require external power.
