The BOSS KATANA-210 Bass is a powerful 160-watt Class AB bass combo amplifier designed for stage performance, studio recording, rehearsals, and practice. It features two custom 10-inch woofers and a high-frequency tweeter to deliver a full, punchy, and clearly defined bass response across a wide range of playing styles.

The amplifier offers three selectable preamp types: Vintage, Flat, and Modern. Vintage provides a warm, organic character with natural drive, Flat delivers a smooth and dynamic response, and Modern provides fast response with extended low-frequency range. A three-way Shape switch adds further tonal flexibility with Mid-Scoop, Bright, and Extended Range settings.

A comprehensive four-band EQ with Bass, Low-Mid, High-Mid, and Treble controls allows detailed tone shaping. The Low-Mid and High-Mid sections include selectable frequency centers for more precise adjustments. The Blend section allows you to combine the processed signal with the dry bass sound for added fullness and clarity.

The KATANA-210 Bass includes four independent effects sections featuring Compressor, Drive, FX1, and FX2. These provide access to a wide selection of BOSS effects, including modulation, chorus, flanger, octave, bass synth, delay, and reverb. BOSS Tone Studio provides access to more than 60 effect types and deeper editing options.

For live performance, the amplifier includes six Tone Setting memories for storing and recalling complete setups. A balanced XLR output provides direct connection to a PA system, with selectable Direct, Pre, or Post signal options. An external speaker output is also provided for expanding the amplifier setup.

Power Control allows you to achieve a powerful, driven response at lower volume levels, making the amplifier suitable for quieter practice and recording. The Phones/Recording output includes miked cabinet emulation and Air Feel settings, while USB connectivity provides a direct connection to computer-based recording systems.
