The BOSS RC-5 Loop Station is a compact and versatile looper pedal designed for musicians who want high-quality looping, rhythm accompaniment, and advanced performance control in a pedalboard-friendly format. With up to 13 hours of 32-bit stereo recording time, it provides plenty of space for capturing musical ideas, building layered performances, practicing, songwriting, and live accompaniment.

The RC-5 features 99 phrase memories for storing loops, overdubs, tempos, and rhythm settings. USB connectivity allows you to back up and restore your recordings, making it easy to manage your loop library and transfer phrases between the pedal and a computer.

An animated RGB LCD provides clear visual information about the current beat, measure, and loop status. Different display indications make it easy to see when the RC-5 is recording, playing back, or overdubbing, helping you stay synchronized during performance.

The built-in rhythm section provides 114 rhythm patterns with 57 basic tracks and A/B variations, along with seven drum kits. Rhythm tracks can also use the onboard reverb, and tempo can be set directly from the pedal for synchronized accompaniment.

For advanced setups, the RC-5 includes stereo inputs and outputs, TRS-MIDI input and output, and an external control jack for optional footswitches or expression pedals. These connections provide expanded control, MIDI synchronization, and integration with other pedals and music equipment.
