The BOSS RC-600 Loop Station is a professional six-track stereo looper designed for singers, guitarists, bassists, electronic musicians, multi-instrumentalists, and modern loop performers. It combines high-quality 32-bit audio, extensive onboard effects, flexible input and output routing, rhythms, and advanced control options for creating complex live performances and studio arrangements.

The RC-600 features six independent stereo phrase tracks with dedicated controls for recording, playback, and stopping. Each of the 99 phrase memories can store six tracks along with custom effects, playback settings, control assignments, and other performance configurations, making it easy to prepare complete songs and recall them during live shows.

The pedal provides two microphone inputs with phantom power for dynamic or condenser microphones, along with two instrument inputs that support guitar, bass, synthesizers, and other line-level equipment. Three assignable stereo output paths provide flexible routing options for separating instruments, vocals, loops, or effects in a live or studio setup.

For sound processing, the RC-600 includes 49 Input FX and 53 Track FX types. Up to four effects can be used simultaneously in each loop section, providing extensive options for shaping incoming sounds and transforming recorded loops. Time-based effects such as delay and modulation can also synchronize with the loop tempo.

The RC-600 includes more than 200 onboard rhythm patterns and 16 drum kits for adding grooves and accompaniment to performances. Nine freely assignable footswitches and three pedal modes provide extensive hands-on control, while two external control jacks can each support two footswitches or one expression pedal.

MIDI connectivity allows the RC-600 to synchronize with DAWs, MIDI sequencers, and other equipment. USB connectivity supports phrase backup and import/export through BOSS Tone Studio, as well as rhythm pattern importing through the RC Rhythm Converter.
