The BOSS RC-500 Loop Station is a powerful dual-track looper designed for guitarists, singer-songwriters, multi-instrumentalists, and performers who want advanced looping capabilities in a compact pedal. It combines high-quality stereo looping, onboard rhythms, Loop FX, flexible mixing, and extensive connectivity for creating detailed live performances and developing musical ideas.

The stereo looper provides up to 13 hours of recording time and uses 32-bit AD/DA conversion and 32-bit floating-point processing to deliver clear, detailed audio. Two independent loop tracks can be used separately for song-style arrangements or together for layered performances and complex musical textures.

The RC-500 features a dedicated XLR microphone input with phantom power, along with mono/stereo instrument inputs for guitars, keyboards, pedals, and other audio sources. Built-in track controls, faders, and a microphone level control provide convenient hands-on mixing while performing.

To add movement and energy to your loops, the RC-500 includes 57 preset rhythms with A/B variations and 16 drum kits. Loop FX such as Repeat, Scatter, Shift, and Vinyl Flick can transform loops during performance, while the Reverse function provides additional creative possibilities.

The pedal includes 99 phrase memories for storing loops, rhythms, audio settings, and control assignments. USB connectivity allows you to back up loops, load WAV files, and transfer audio between the RC-500 and a computer. MIDI connectivity and support for external footswitches and expression pedals provide expanded control for more advanced setups.
