The Roland TM-1 Trigger Module makes it easy to add powerful electronic sounds to an acoustic drum kit, creating a flexible hybrid setup for live performance, recording, and practice. Designed for straightforward operation, the TM-1 lets you combine acoustic drums with onboard electronic sounds, custom samples, and loops without complicated equipment or extensive technical knowledge.

The TM-1 comes loaded with 15 ready-to-play kits, featuring kick, snare, tom, cymbal, percussion, and other sounds. With the free TM-1 Editor app for Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android, you can access more than 150 additional sounds, import your own samples, assign sounds to connected triggers, and customize settings for different songs and performances. Samples up to six seconds can be imported from a computer, tablet, smartphone, or cloud storage.

For acoustic drum enhancement, the TM-1 works with Roland RT-series acoustic drum triggers, allowing you to layer electronic samples with your natural kick and snare sounds for additional punch, clarity, and impact. It also supports a wide range of Roland trigger pads, making it easy to expand your percussion setup with additional electronic sounds.

Two built-in footswitches provide convenient control during performances, allowing you to trigger sounds, change kits, or mute the module without reaching for the controls. The compact, rugged metal-body design and battery operation make the TM-1 particularly well suited for mobile musicians and live drummers.
